Located midway between Los Angeles and Phoenix, this new 76-acre, 520-megawatt, advanced technology gas-fired combined cycle power plant is one of the largest independent power generation projects in California.  Electricity generated at the 270-million dollar plant will have the capacity to power more than 500,000 homes in the state.

QC Southwest, Inc. provided geotechnical services to the project including all soils-work and footings inspection.

QC Southwest, Inc. also provided quality assurance inspection and testing services during construction for reinforced concrete, masonry, and field welding.
